　　The South Korean pop star and actress Sulli, who had spoken out against cyber-bullying was found dead at her home south of Seoul on Monday, announced local police. According to her manager, the 25-year-old had long grappled with severe depression and constant online bullying directed against her. The investigation into the cause of her death is ongoing. The preliminary investigation found no signs of foul play, and police did not find a suicide note.

　　Teachins procedure:

　　Step 1: Warming-up

　　1. Greetings

　　2. Showr students a short msic video about Sui

　　6. Ask students, What happened to this girl? Then lead to the new topic what caused sulli 's death?

　　Step 2: Pre writing

　　1. Ask student to read the material and figure out the main idea.

　　2. Ask students to have a grou discussion about what caused the death and reasons.

　　3. Ask students to give their solutions and opinions on the iss

　　4. At last, teach students the structure of argumentation according to the discussion on the blackboard. Tell them that they can briefly introduce the news and explain the reasons in the first paragraph, give solutions and opinions in the second paragraph and malie conclusions in the last paragraph.

　　Step 3: While-writing

　　1.如果在前面做的对话中，有学生说出：I have a new schoolbag。这时教师要利用这一契机追问：Really? What colour is it? 如果没有学生说出与课文相关的句子，教师可进行以下操作：教师手中拿一个书包，说：I have a new schoolbag. It's black and white. 让学生听两遍后，问学生：What colour is it? 如果学生一时回答不出来，教师可用以下句子进行引导：Is it black/red/blue?当学生说出颜色的词时，教师说完整句It's … 让学生重复。

　　2.让学生用身边的物品做What colour is it? It's…的问答练习。

　　(注意颜色前面不能用冠词，对学生说出的句子It's a blue.教师要随时给与纠正)

　　3.教师出示一只玩具熊猫，问学生：What's this? 对能够回答出来的学生进行表扬，如果没有学生能说出来，教师：It's a panda.It's a fat panda。在说句子时，教师要用手势帮助学生理解fat一词。让学生看着熊猫重复教师刚才说的句子。

　　4.教师指着书包，与学生做问答。

　　教师：What colour is it?

　　学生：It's black and white.

　　教师：What’s in your schoolbag?

　　学生：An English book…

　　5.让学生模仿着做这组对话。

　　6.听录音，跟读并模仿。

　　7.让学生分小组表演对话。教师可让学习好的学生在课文的基础上，自编对话。对学习好的同学要提高要求。

　　Ask students to write the composition within 15 minutes, then ask students to pay attention to the structure, grammar, punctuation. In their writing, the teacher will lve a proper Instruction.

　　Step 4: Post -writing

　　1. Ask students to do a self-editing and then do a peer-editing

　　2. Ask one or too students to share their compositions

　　Summary: do a summary together, and tell students that we should form a positive attitude towards life and know how to release pressure.

　　Homework: ask students to find more methods to release pressure and share it next class.
