2024年专升本英语数词考点详解

　　数词表示数目多少或顺序多少的词叫数词，数词分为基数词和序数词。

　　01 序数词

　　序数词表示排列的顺序，序数词的缩写为数词加序数词的最后两个字母，序数词常与定冠词the连用。

　　序数词的缩写形式：first—1st;second—2nd;thirty-first—31st。

　　02 基数词

　　表示确切的数字时，像hundred、thousand、million等，仅用该词不加“s”。但表示成千上万时则要加。

　　dozen(一打，12个)、score(20个)等词时同样表示精确数字时用不用复数，但表示概述时用复数。

　　表示年月日：“年”用基数词，“日”用序数词。

　　表示分数：用数词表示分数时，分子用基数词，分母用序数词;如果分子大于1，分母要用复数。1/2：one-second;3/4 three-fourths;2/5 two-fifths。

　　百分数由基数词(或小数)和百分号(%)组成，百分号(%)读作percent，如“百分之六十”可表示为60% 或者sixty percent。

　　加减乘除的表示方法：

　　15+2=?How much is fifteen plus two?

　　8-7=?How much is eight minus seven?

　　12×12=?How much is twelve times twelve?

　　81÷9=?How much is eighty-one divided by nine?

　　读小数时，数字只用基数词：3.4 读作：three point four;0.2读作zero point two。

　　03 倍数表示法

　　主语 谓语 倍数(或分数) as adj. as

　　I have three times as many as you. 我有你三倍那么多。

　　主语 谓语 倍数(分数) the size(amount，length…)of…

　　The earth is 49 times the size of the moon. 地球是月球的49倍。

　　主语 谓语 倍数(分数) 形容词(副词)比较级 than…

　　The grain output is 8 percent higher this year than that of last year. 今年比去年粮食产量增加8%。

　　还可以用by 倍数，表示增加多少倍。

　　The production of grain has been increased by four times this year. 今年粮食产量增加了4倍。
