　　在主从复合句中充当宾语，位于及物动词、介词或复合谓语之后的从句称为宾语从句。引导词有：that, what, which, who, whom, whether (if)及whatever, whoever, whichever, when, where, how,why。

　　用法：作动词的宾语、介词的宾语，以及某些形容词短语的宾语。如：

　　He asked me what I wanted. 他问我想要什么。(动词宾语)

　　I don’t know where the sound came from. 我不知道声音从哪儿传来。(动词宾语)

　　I doubt whether/if they will be able to arrive here on time.

　　我不知道他们是否能按时到达这里。(动词宾语)

　　She is confident that she will win. 她相信自己能获胜。(形容词宾语)

　　They are glad that you’ve succeeded in your plan. 他们很高兴你的计划获得成功。(形容词宾语)

　　We are not sure whether he will come. 我们不确信他能否来。(形容词宾语)

　　Besides what you told me, I know nothing about it.

　　除了你告诉我的，我对这件事一无所知。(介词宾语)

　　1. 语序

　　宾语从句的语序为陈述语序。如：

　　I think you will like this school soon. 我想你很快会喜欢这所学校的。

　　Do you believe that he will win? 你相信他会赢吗?

　　2. 时态

　　当主句是一般现在时，宾语从句可根据情况采用任何时态;当主句为一般过去时，宾语从句则用过去时某种时态。I hear that he went to work an hour ago./ I hear that she will come tomorrow.He said he was sick./ He said he had finished his homework.

　　3. 注意事项

　　(1)if与whether的区别

　　①if多引导宾语从句(引导主语从句时不能置于句首)，whether可以引导主语、宾语、表语、同位语从句。如：

　　He asked us if everybody was here. 他问我们是否所有人都在这。

　　I don’t know if (whether) he has come here. 我不知道他是否来过这。

　　②一般说来，在宾语从句中whether与if可互换使用，但在特殊情况下if与whether是不能互换的。

　　v 只能用whether不能用if引导的宾语从句：

　　A. 在带to的不定式前。如：

　　We decided whether to walk there. 我们决定是否步行去那儿。

　　B. 在介词的后面。如：

　　I’m thinking of whether we should go to see the film.我在考虑我们是否应该去看场电影。

　　C. 直接与or not连用时。如：

　　I can’t say whether or not they can come on time. 我说不准他们是否能准时来。

　　v 只能用if不能用whether引导的宾语从句：

　　if引导否定概念的宾语从句时。如：

　　He asked if I didn’t come to school yesterday. 他问我昨天有没有来学校。

　　(2)that的省略情况

　　在非正式文体中，that用于引导宾语从句时，常常可以省略。如：

　　He said (that) he would never do such a thing. 他说他永远不会做那种事。

　　(3)it作形式宾语

　　如果宾语从句后面有宾语补足语，为保持句子平衡，that引导的宾语从句一般要使用形式宾语it代替，而把真正的宾语从句放到宾语补足语后面。如：

　　He made it quite clear that he preferred to live here. 他说得很清楚，他宁愿住在这儿。
