　　一、名河南专升本词

　　名词有可数与不可数的区别，所以修饰可数和不可数名词的限定词也有所区别，以下为几类常见的限定词。其中重点掌握只可修饰不可数名词的限定词。

　　1. 只能修饰可数名词单数的限定词，其谓语部分常用单数

　　a(n), one, another, each, every, either, neither, many a, such a

　　2. 只能修饰可数名词复数的限定词，其谓语部分常用复数

　　many, a number of, several, both, a couple of, few

　　3. 只能修饰不可数名词的限定词，其谓语部分常用单数

　　much, a great deal of, a large amount of, little

　　4. 既能修饰可数名词又能修饰不可数名词，其谓语单复数视具体名词的单复数而定

　　a lot of, lots of, plenty of, some, most, all

　　【注意】在使用名词单、复数时还要注意的几个问题：(1)单、复数形式词义不同。如：glass玻璃-glasses眼镜time时间-times倍，次，时代work工作-works工厂，作品wood木头-woods森林cloth布-clothes衣服sand沙子-sands沙滩

　　(2)物质名词的复数形式一般表示不同的种类。如：these foods这些(不同种类的)食品fruits(各种)水果grasses(各种)草

　　(3)有些名词形式上是单数，但意义上却是复数。如：people人民cattle牛(总称)police警察public公众

　　(4)“man / woman+n.”的复数形式man / woman+n.变为复数时，作定语的名词和中心词都要变复数。如：a man teacher一个男教师 → ten men teachers十个男教师

　　二、代词

　　不明确指代某个特定的人或事物的代词叫不定代词。不定代词较多，如some, any, all, both, neither, either, one, none, another, other, the other, others, the others, something, nothing等。

　　1. no, no one, nobody, none

　　2. another, other, the other, others, the others

　　3. both, all, either, any, neither, none

　    注意：all表示不可数名词时，其谓语动词用单数。both和all加否定词表示部分否定，

　　全部否定用neither和none。

　　如：

　　All of the books are not written in English.= Not all of the books are written in English. 不是所有的书都是英文的。Both of us are not teachers. = Not both of us are teachers. 我俩不都是老师。Either of us is a teacher. 我俩都是老师。Neither of us is a teacher. 我俩都不是老师。
